AI And Data Disclosure
How Macro Terminal uses AI-assisted analysis and third-party market context.
Effective date: July 22, 2026
Macro Terminal uses AI-assisted analysis to help organize market evidence. AI can help summarize, classify, and explain information, but it can also make mistakes.
AI Providers
The app may use Anthropic/Claude for primary analysis and OpenAI/ChatGPT as fallback or support where configured. AI provider usage may change over time based on service reliability, cost, and product needs.
What AI May Process
- News headlines and summaries.
- Manual context.
- App evidence packages.
- Ask Macro user queries.
- Supporting market context available inside the app.
What AI Output Means
AI output in Macro Terminal should be treated as a research aid only. It may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, biased, stale, misclassified, or unsuitable for a user's situation. AI output is not personalized advice, a trade signal, a trade instruction, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, short, enter, exit, size, or trade any financial instrument. AI output should not be used as the sole basis for any trading or investment decision.
Manual Context
Manual context may be added to help the app understand the macro relevance of an article, data point, or post. Manual context is still subject to human error and AI interpretation error.
Third-Party Content
Market news, data, source references, headlines, posts, and article excerpts remain the property of their respective owners. Public-facing summaries and drivers are paraphrased or generated interpretations for educational context.
No Original Source Replacement
Macro Terminal is not a substitute for reading original sources, official releases, central bank statements, data calendars, exchange disclosures, or broker/platform terms.
